CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br /> PARKS AND RECREATION COMMITTEE <br /> MEETING MINUTES <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City of Centerville's Parks & Recreation Committee <br /> held a scheduled meeting on November 7, 2018 at City Hall, 1800 Main Street. <br /> Present: Chairperson Kevin Waeghe <br /> Committee Member Kevin Amundsen <br /> Committee Member Chris Bettinger V <br /> Committee Member Heidi Errickson-Grahek <br /> Committee Member Brian Peterson <br /> Committee Member Suzanne Seeley <br /> Also Present: Matt Montain, Council Member Liaison <br /> Mark Statz, City Administrator/Engineer <br /> I. CALL TO ORDER <br /> Committee Member Waeghe called the November 7, 2018 meeting of the Parks & <br /> Recreation Committee to order at 6:37 p.m. in the City Administrative offices. <br /> II. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> Motion made by Committee Member Wae2he, seconded by Committee Member <br /> Amundsen to approve the Agenda with the following additions: #2. Sledding Hill & <br /> #3. Scooters/Motorized Bikes, both under Unfinished Business; #3. Staff Update <br /> under Announcements/Updates. All in favor. Motion carried <br /> III. APPEARANCES/APPOINTMENTS/PRESENTATIONS - NONE <br /> IV. UNFINISHED COMMITTEE BUSINESS <br /> 1. Skate Night Planning - January <br /> There was discussion to include the sledding hill as part of Skate Night as was <br /> done in 2018 to introduce the sledding hill as another fun park activity. See the <br /> minutes of the October 10, 2018 for additional details of this event. <br /> 2. Sledding Hill <br /> If including promotion of the sledding hill, it was suggested to have some types of <br /> competition, as was previously done, with prizes, i.e. 1st, 2nd & 3rd place medals, <br /> etc. This activity would be promoted as an extra activity, along with Skate Night. <br /> 3. Skate Night/Hayride Planning—February <br />
