City of Centerville <br /> Council Meeting Minutes <br /> January 9,2019 <br /> Administrator Statz stated that the new interconnect would be entirely paid for by the <br /> City of Lino Lakes and very beneficial to the City of Centerville. He stated that the <br /> previous interconnect agreement was tweaked slightly to fit this new interconnect. <br /> Administrator Statz stated that believed that the developer (Lennar Homes) was paying <br /> for this system. <br /> Motion by Council Member Koski, seconded by Council Member Lakso to Approve <br /> the Presented Water System Interconnect Agreement. All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> X. COUNCIL/ADMINISTRATOR ANNOUNCEMENTS <br /> 1. Administrator/Engineer Report <br /> Administrator Statz stated that his report was in the packet and he would be happy to <br /> answer and questions that Council had. He reported that he had met with an organizer of <br /> Marketfest earlier in the day and felt that they had a wonderful conversation and she had <br /> many ideas for something similar in Centerville. <br /> City Attorney Glaser stated that prosecution cases have slowed for the year. <br /> Council Member Lakso stated that this is her first meeting back to Council and thanked <br /> the public for their votes and Council for their patience and understanding regarding items <br /> and background research. <br /> Council Member Love welcomed Council Member Lakso back. He stated that the first <br /> Police Governing Board meeting would be held on the 14th of January where they would <br /> be developing a schedule for 2019 and discussing unfinished business from 2018 and <br /> presenting Life Savings Awards. He stated that the EDA would be holding their meeting <br /> on the 16th. He thanked the audience for allowing him to serve and congratulated Mayor <br /> Paar also. <br /> Council Member Koski welcomed Council Member Lakso back from her eight (8) year <br /> absence and congratulated Mayor Paar and Council Member Love on being voted in <br /> again. He stated that he felt that past Councilmembers have been wonderful to work with <br /> and he believes that this Council will also be wonderful to work with. Council Member <br /> Koski questioned Administrator Statz regarding the status of Old Mill Estates and Peltier <br /> Preserve. Administrator Statz stated that both developers have been reengaged and he felt <br /> that final plats would be forthcoming shortly. He stated that City Attorney Glaser is <br /> working on the Developer Agreements. <br /> Administrator Statz stated that the City is in receipt of an Interim Use Permit Application <br /> for Rehbein Black Dirt. He reported that the old IUP had expired and they desire the same <br /> conditions for the new one with the extension of selling black dirt for two (2) years. He <br /> reported that with the old IUP they were to discontinue stockpiling dirt. With the new <br /> request they desire to mine black dirt. He stated that the City is in receipt of a letter from <br /> United Properties in favor of the continued mining of dirt at the current locations as they <br /> Page 5 of 7 <br />
