Review of January 19, 2019 Skate & Sliding Night <br /> There was a low turnout due to the cold weather. No music was provided. <br /> 2. Fete de Lacs Runs Committee Update- Mr. Pat Branch <br /> Fete des Lacs —5K/8K/Kid Runs & Paddle des Lacs: <br /> • Registration fees: online $25 per person or race day $30 per person and <br /> Maximum Family fee: $50; <br /> • Midwest Events.com will be taking online registration; there will be a live <br /> timer; <br /> • All special event permits have been submitted (see above for city <br /> applications) <br /> • Article will be submitted to the Citizen by Mr. Branch <br /> • Logo contest — Mr. Branch is waiting for callback from the high school for <br /> their participation. <br /> • Grade schools to be given information to distribute <br /> • Rent or borrow kayaks/canoes (Kerrie has 16 single kayaks for rent) <br /> • A Management Plan was submitted for these above events: <br /> Part 1 —Safety/Traffic Emergency Communications Plan <br /> Part 2—Volunteer Plan/Manager <br /> Part 3 —Course Manager <br /> Part 4—In the Park Manager <br /> Part 5 —Registration & Timing Management <br /> Part 6 —Kids Run <br /> Part 7 —Race Director or Race Coordinators <br /> 3. Fete des Lacs —Committee update—Mr. Peterson <br /> Committee Member Peterson reported that a Veteran has been selected as the <br /> Grand Marshal. <br /> 4. Council Updates —Council Member Lakso <br /> a. Committee Members welcomed Ms. Michelle Lakso to the position of <br /> Council Liaison with the P & R Committee. <br /> b. Ms. Lakso will take a look at the City website(16-026) &bring her <br /> suggestion for discussion at the March meeting. <br /> 5. Staff Updates —The following items were tabled to the March meeting due to <br /> the absence of Administrator Statz <br /> a. Interpretive Signs in Hidden Spring & Trailside Parks; <br /> b.
