Centerville,MN-Evaluation 3 <br /> Exterior and Interior Inspection <br /> The exterior inspection is critical for evaluating the coating conditions to determine whether the <br /> coating is a candidate for over coating or complete reconditioning. KLM inspectors will also <br /> check for structural deficiencies and OSHA compliance. <br /> For each inspection, KLM will provide a NACE Coatings Inspector that is properly trained and <br /> qualified to perform this type of inspection. The exterior will be inspected from all areas <br /> accessible without rigging unless otherwise written into this agreement. Coating conditions of <br /> both the interior and exterior will be examined using a number of different testing equipment. <br /> KLM's inspection will include using ultrasonic thickness readings UT, dry film thickness DFT, <br /> and standard ASTM tests. <br /> Interior and Exterior: <br /> ■ Roof structure (size and style) ■ Ladders, cages,platforms, and <br /> ■ Vents (size and style) handrails <br /> ■ Roof manways (size and style) ■ Painters rigging <br /> ■ Ventilation manways (size and ■ Reinforcement pads <br /> style) Balcony or stiffening girder <br /> ■ Overflow weir and pipe (size and Anchor bolts and cotter pins <br /> style) Base pad condition including flexcel <br /> ■ Support column(size and style) and grout <br /> ■ Capacity level and head range Screens on vents and overflows <br /> ■ Inlet/outlet pipe Overflow air breaks, splash pads, <br /> ■ Mud ring and drainage <br /> ■ Drains Safety devices <br /> ■ Floor condition(oil canning) Lighting <br /> ■ Cathodic protection Site dimensions <br /> ■ Pitting Safety considerations <br /> ■ Girders and sail plates <br /> Inspection Fees <br /> Option 1 <br /> Remote Operated Vehicle (ROV) Inspection $3,000.00 <br /> Option 2 <br /> Dry Tank Cleanout Inspection $3,000.00 <br /> Fees are subject to change if proposed work exceeds 12 months from this bid proposal. <br /> Terms & Conditions <br /> KLM has attached our standard Terms & Conditions.
