CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br /> CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION <br /> & COUNCIL MEETING <br /> April 10, 2019 <br /> 5:30 p.m. <br /> CITY COUNCIL WORKSESSION <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City of Centerville held a scheduled City Council <br /> Work Session on April 10, 2019 at City Hall, 1880 Main Street. <br /> PRESENT: Mayor Jeff Paar <br /> Council Member D. Love <br /> Council Member Russ Koski (1, <br /> Council Member Michelle Lakso it <br /> Council Member Matt Montain <br /> ABSENT: None. <br /> STAFF: City Administrator Mark Statz <br /> COUNCIL <br /> I. CALL TO ORDER <br /> Mayor Paar called the meeting to order at 6:32 p.m. <br /> II. ITEMS OF DISCUSSION <br /> 1. Fire District Succession Planning <br /> Administrator Statz provided Council with numerous reports and statistics regarding calls, <br /> personnel levels, salaries, etc. surrounding the retirement of Assistant Chief Bruder. The <br /> Council also discussed daytime response rates. Administrator Statz stated that the goal of the <br /> Fire Steering Committee is to narrow down options so the initial budget discussions can include <br /> expenditures accordingly and implementation can easily be obtained by the first quarter of 2020. <br /> Council provided input and Administrator Statz stated that he would forward the information to <br /> the Steering Committee. <br /> 2. Rebranding Discussion <br /> Administrator Statz provided Council with a Brand Summary Document for rebranding and <br /> complied input from the Council prior to hiring a graphic artist to develop several concepts for <br /> the City's new logo. <br /> Administrator Statz would continue to work with the information provided by Council. <br /> III. ADJOURNMENT <br />
