<br />CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br />PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the Planning and Zoning Commission held its regular <br />meeting on Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at 6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />PRESENT: Chairperson Darrin Mosher <br /> Commissioner Linda Broussard Vickers <br />Commissioner Ben Fehrenbacher. <br />Commissioner Mark Haiden (Arrived at 6:33 p.m.) <br />Commissioner Darrell (DJ) Olson, Jr. <br />Commissioner Nick Twohy (Arrived at 6:37 p.m.) <br />Vacant Seat <br /> <br />ABSENT: None. <br /> <br />STAFF: City Administrator/Engineer Mark Statz <br /> City Planner Phil Carlson <br /> <br />OTHERS PRESENT: City Council Liaison Alternate Mayor Jeff Paar <br /> <br />I. CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order at 6:30 p.m. by Chairperson Mosher. <br /> <br />II. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br /> <br />III. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> <br />Chairperson Mosher questioned whether there were additions or removal of any items. No <br />Commissioners desired changes. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Broussard Vickers, seconded by Commissioner Fehrenbacher to <br />Approve the Agenda as presented. All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />IV. PUBLIC HEARINGS (6:30 PM or shortly thereafter) <br /> <br />1. Rezoning of 1801, 1825, 1845, PIN #23-31-22-12-0092, 1873, 1969, 1970, 1973, 1976, <br />1979, 1980, 1981, 1988, 1990, 2030, 2050 & PIN #24-31-22-23-0010 Main Street, 7090, <br />thst <br />7205, 7140 – 20 Avenue and PIN #24-31-22-23-0010 & 7095, 7111 – 21 Avenue <br />from B-1 (Commercial) to B-2 (Main Street Commercial); Text Amendments & <br />Amendment to Table 156-A.1, District Allowed Uses <br /> <br />Chairperson Mosher opened the public hearing at 6:32 p.m. <br /> <br />Administrator Statz stated that the Commission has been discussing ways to better address <br />commercial land use issues for quite some time and have previously reviewed the concept of <br />rezoning Main Street properties to differentiate them from other commercial properties. <br /> <br />Page 1 of 3 <br /> <br />
