Anti-drug presentations <br /> <br />In addition to vehicle patrol, officers 1dili7,ed foot and bicycle patrol (when weather <br />permitted) in areas where both serious as wen as nuisance violations were likely to occur <br />(e.g. parks, playing fields, parades, etc.). <br /> <br />C.O.P. is not a new program. Police Departments' re-commitment to Community <br />Oriented Policing philosophies reflects ehsmging times, attitudes, and the overall <br />awareness that crime fighting and the resulting increases in safety and quality of life <br />requires a cooperative effort between the police and the people they protect and serve. <br />The Centennial Lakes Police Department is proud of its C.O.P. efforts to date, and loob <br />forward to additional C.O.P.-related successes in the future. <br /> <br />If you bave any suggestions to improve our Community Oriented Policing, please let us <br />know. <br /> <br />- <br />
