<br />CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br />PARKS AND RECREATION COMMITTEE <br />MEETING MINUTES <br /> <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City of Centerville’s Parks & Recreation Committee <br />held a scheduled meeting on May 1, 2019 at City Hall, 1800 Main Street. <br /> <br />Present: Committee Member Kevin Waeghe, Chairman <br />Committee Member Chris Bettinger <br />Committee Member Heidi Errickson-Grahek <br />Committee Member Brian Peterson <br /> <br />Also Present: Michelle Lakso, Council Member Liaison <br /> Linda Neudecker, Recorder <br /> <br />Absent: Committee Member Suzanne Seeley <br /> Mark Statz, City Administrator/Engineer <br /> <br />I. CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Committee Member Chair, Kevin Waeghe called the May 6, 2019 Meeting of the Parks & <br />Recreation Committee to order at 6:40 p.m. in the Council Chambers. Results of the roll call are <br />shown above. <br /> <br />II. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> <br />Motion made by Committee Member Peterson, seconded by Committee Member Bettinger <br />to approve the Agenda with the following additions: add #2 under Appearances – Ms. <br />Marie Vidgen, donation; add #3 under Appearances – Mr. Tom Lee, Music in the Park, <br />add #4 under Appearances - Mr. Pat Branch, Fete des Lacs Runs. All in favor. Motion <br />carried. <br /> <br />III. APPEARANCES/APPOINTMENTS/PRESENTATIONS <br /> <br />1. Ms. Kathy Freiermuth, P & R Committee Member applicant <br />Motion made by Committee Member Bettinger, seconded by Committee Member <br />Errickson-Grahek to recommend to the city council to approve the appointment of Ms. <br />Bonnie Freiermuth to one of the open seats on the P & R Committee. All in favor. Motion <br />carried. <br /> <br />2. Ms. Marie Vidger – Donation <br />Ms. Vidger appeared before the Committee to make a donation of $2,000 for improvements for <br />Trailside Park & in support of the Bald Eagle Water Ski Club. <br /> <br /> <br />
