The streets included <br />in the project include 2-1/2 blocks of Sorel Street, Goiffon Road, Progress Road south of Main Street, one <br />block of Centerville Road north of Main Street, Heritage Street east of Centerville Road. See the attached <br />map of the proposed project area. The improvements will generally include full reconstruction of the road <br />with the addition of curb and gutter, storm sewer improvements, and the addition of water main and water <br />service to the existing residences that are currently served by private wells. The City has received a grant <br />to extend water service to income-qualified residents in the project area. <br />The design for this project would consist of the following tasks in accordance with Stantec’s Professional <br />Services Agreement with the City of Centerville: <br />Engineering Phase: <br />Task 1 – Design of street and pedestrian facilities with parameters as proposed in the feasibility study. <br />Task 2 – Design of water main and water services with parameters as proposed in the feasibility study. <br />Task 3 – Analysis of stormwater management and permitting requirements, and design of storm water <br />conveyance system within project area. Design of stormwater management systems such as off- <br />site irrigation is not included in this scope. <br />Task 4 – Attendance at one Council Meeting to present plans and receive authorization to advertise for <br />bids. <br />Task 5 – Preparation of bidding documents to include plans, specifications, and Advertisement for Bids. <br />Documents to conform with bidding requirements set forth by funding agencies. <br />Task 6 – Assistance during bidding including answering contractor questions, preparing Addenda as <br />necessary, and attendance at bid opening. <br />74 <br /> <br />
