City of Centerville <br />Council Meeting Minutes <br />August 14, 2019 <br /> <br />is moving about and etc. She stated that they no longer can enjoy their rear yard due to the noise. <br />She stated that there should be some sort of balance between the business and homeowners. <br /> <br />Ms. Melissa Burrows, 7060 Cottonwood Court, stated that she works from home and on occasion <br />people on the other end of the telephone line can hear the beeping trucks and nose from the <br />business. <br /> <br />Administrator Statz stated that an additional letter similar to that which was placed in the packet <br />was delivered by Ms. Bednar which contained seven (7) signatures of neighbors that also have <br />experience the noise nuisance. <br /> <br />Mayor Paar thanked the residents for their formal notification of the noise issues. He stated that <br />several police calls regarding noise have been received and the City Administrator and City <br />Attorney have made attempts to work with both parties regarding the noise. He stated that staff <br />would like to research the issues more thoroughly and present a plan to both sides in an attempt to <br />resolve the issues. <br /> <br />Council Member Love questioned the amount of homes on Cottonwood Court. Ms. Bednar stated <br />that there were 18 homes on the cul de sac. Administrator Statz stated that staff would present <br />Council with a map of those homes that submitted the letter at Council next meeting. <br /> <br />V. PUBLIC HEARING <br /> <br />1.
