Stantec Consulting Services Inc. <br />733 Marquette AvenueSuite 1000, Minneapolis MN 55402-2309 <br />December 5, 2019 <br />File: 193885141 <br />Attention: Mr. Mark Statz, City Administrator/Engineer <br />City of Centerville <br />1880 Main Street <br />Centerville, MN 55038 <br />Dear Mark, <br />This letter outlines the Scope of Services and estimated costs to provide engineering services for <br />stormwater mitigation credits from the Rice Creek Watershed District (RCWD) for future redevelopment of <br />downtown Centerville. The project includes expanding the existing LaMotte Park irrigation system to the <br />following areas (see the attached Figure 1 showing the proposed project areas): <br />1. Irrigation in the northeastern and southwestern corners of LaMotte Park through installation of two <br />2. Irrigation of the interior portion of LaMotte Park through installation of a new traditional irrigation <br />system (Area 3). <br />3. Irrigation of Hidden Springs Park (Area 4) and the adjacent Saint Paul Regional Water Services <br />facility (Area 5), by extending the irrigation system across LaMotte Drive and installing a traditional <br />irrigation system. <br />4. Irrigation of green spaces on the St. Genevieve Church property north of LaMotte Park (Areas 6 <br />and 7). <br />The proposed scope of work will generally include the provision of details and specifications for a contractor <br />designed irrigation system to serve the areas identified, as well as the required permitting, bidding and <br />construction services for the work. The City has received a grant from the Metropolitan Council for <br />$100,000 to fund the majority of the project costs. It is our understanding that additional grant funding is <br />also being pursued. <br />Scope of Services <br />The scope of services for this project will consist of the tasks below. <br />requirements and other logistics. <br />47 <br /> <br />
