CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br />REQUEST FOR <br />COUNCIL ACTION <br />Agenda Item # Department: Requested Council Meeting Date: <br />March 25, 2020 <br />Public Works/Engineering <br />VII.4 <br />TITLE OF ISSUE: <br />Downtown Street and Utility Improvements - Surveying and Inspection Services Proposal - Stantec <br />BACKGROUND AND SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION: <br />A contract for the Downtown Street and Utility Improvements has now been awarded to A-1 Excavation. They <br />intend to begin construction within the next few weeks. Attached is a proposal from Stantec to provide survey <br />and construction inspection for the duration of the project and to produce a record plan (as-built). The proposal <br />has been reviewed by staff and is line with industry expectations for cost.
