City of Centerville <br />Council Meeting Minutes <br />March 25, 2020 <br />1. <br /> <br />Administrator Statz stated that there was not a written Administrator Report. <br />Mayor Paar provided the audience with an overview of an Emergency Meeting of Council <br />that was held on March 18, 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. He stated that Council <br />adopted an Emergency Declaration and placed actions for operations of City Hall and the <br />Public Works Department. He stated that City Hall will be closed to the public, telephones <br />will be answered during normal business hours and all permits will be accepted via online <br />or can be dropped off in a tote in the vestibule. He also stated that utility payments will be <br />accepted via online or in the Utility Payment Drop Box entering the parking lot to City Hall. <br />Mayor Paar stated that the Public Works staff will be staggering their work schedules to <br />refrain from the possibility of infection of each other, (two (2) employees at a time) with <br />the other two (2) working from home. Offices would be decontaminated following every <br />work day and employees with capabilities to work from home do so. He also stated that <br />emails would be accepted through info@centervillemn.com. He reported that other than <br />this meeting all meetings would be provided to the public via Zoom and live streaming <br />through North Metro TV. North Metro Telecommunications Commission <br /> <br />City Attorney Glaser stated that the Mayor needed to be appointed to the Personnel <br />Committee. He stated that he felt that this was the intent of Council previously but no <br />ordinance was adopted. He alsoxt meeting appointments should <br />be made to EDA and the Centennial Lakes Police Governing Board. Mayor Love stated <br />that alternates and order of succession would prevail until such time as the appointments <br />would be made. <br />Page 5 of 6 <br /> <br />
