City of Centerville <br />Council Meeting Minutes <br />January 8, 2020 <br /> <br />Council as a whole thanked Ms. Vento for her attendance and opportunity for them to meet her. <br />They desired to have her attend events in Centerville to provide her with an opportunity of <br />becoming familiar with the community and its residents. Ms. Vento stated that process for being <br />appointed by the Governor was lengthy and both he and the Lieutenant Governor were extremely <br />involved in the process <br /> <br />Mayor Paar stated that the previous representative was not involved, active or familiar with the <br />community which has left a sour taste for the Metropolitan Council. He stated that he desired to <br />believe that meeting Ms. Vento was a step in the right direction for a lasting relationship. He also <br />stated that it is key that the representative know and understand the concerns for the community <br />which will in turn provide the City with better representation. <br /> <br />Mayor Paar stated that the City is available for any questions or concerns that Ms. Vento may have <br />and that we look forward to a constructive relationship <br /> <br />V. November 13, 2019 City Council Meeting Minutes <br /> <br />Mayor Paar stated that updated minutes had been forwarded to Council for consideration. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Koski, seconded by Council Member Montain to <br />Approved the Updated Minutes. All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />VII. CONSENT AGENDA <br /> <br />1.
