Centerville 2040 Comprehensive Plan <br /> <br /> <br />4.The Planning and Zoning Commission will decide whether or not to proceed with the <br />proposed amendment. If a decision to proceed is made, a formal public hearing will <br />be held on the proposed amendment. <br />5.Following the public hearing the Planning and Zoning Commission will make a <br />recommendation to the City Council. <br />6.The City Council will receive the recommendation from the Planning and Zoning <br />Commission and make a final decision on whether to adopt the amendment. <br />7.All amendments to the plan must be submitted to the Metropolitan Council for review <br />prior to implementation. <br />C APITAL I MPROVEMENT P ROGRAM <br />The City will annually update a five-year capital improvements program which identifies major <br />capital expenditures consistent with the Plan. The program includes public and private <br />investments in infrastructure, park and trail development expenditures, infrastructure repair and <br />replacement, building maintenance and repair and other planned capital expenditures.
