Quad Area Chamber of Commerce <br />Eat Local Campaign <br />The Quad Area Chamber of <br />Commerce is teaming with the Lino <br />Lakes Rotary Club to help local <br />restaurants by purchasing signs for <br />them to place outside, letting folks <br />know that they are open for take-out <br />and delivery options. <br /> <br />Anoka County Temp Sign Regs <br />Relaxed <br />County Board Allowing Temporary Signage for Businesses <br />The Anoka County Board of Commissioners April 14 <br />authorized placement of temporary signage within the <br />county right-of-way, for the purpose of announcing re- <br />openings and alternative service delivery options during the <br />COVID-19 pandemic restriction period. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Minnesota Technology Corridor <br />The EDA voted to participate, financially, in a Data <br />Center Feasibility Report, from consultant Excipio, The <br />assessment includes detailed financial analysis of state and other tax incentives as well as <br />an analysis of power and broadband availability. Having this evaluation done, is much <br />makes the property much more marketable to <br />the data center market. The Executive Director was given parameters within which to <br />ticipation in the study. <br /> <br />Anoka County Regional Economic Development (ACRED) <br />The Marketing Subcommittee is putting together a promotional video to help attract <br />businesses to the county. A storyboard and outline has been prepared, featuring our <br />available land, proximity to downtown, rail and regional airport access, educational <br />institutions and much more. <br /> <br />We continue to plan for marketing efforts in conjunction with the 3M Open Golf <br />Tournament in July. <br /> <br />FINANCE <br /> <br />Audit <br />The audit started on April 13. Staff has been providing information and supporting material <br />as the auditors have questions. The field work should be completed this week. The report is <br /> <br />
