Stantec Consulting Services Inc. <br />733 Marquette Avenue Suite 1000, Minneapolis MN 55402-2309 <br />May 8, 2020 <br />File: 193885141 <br />Attention: Mr. Mark Statz, City Administrator/Engineer <br />City of Centerville <br />1880 Main Street <br />Centerville, MN 55038 <br />Dear Mark, <br />This letter outlines the Scope of Services and estimated costs to provide engineering services for <br />Centerville is contracting from Leo A. Daly (LAD) and includes the following improvements. <br />1. Design the replacement of the two existing furnace/AC units and upgrade the HVAC systems <br />serving the Fire Station Offices, City <br />report on the facility, dated March 13, 2019, reference Longer Term Option 5. This includes <br />providing three unitary HVAC units located at grade on the south side of the building and <br />connecting to the existing ductwork, modified as required, to provide three independent zones of <br />heating/cooling. <br />2. Design an electric in-floor warming system throughout the Office and Council spaces. This system <br />supplements the forced air system for enhanced comfort, but is not intended to be the sole source <br />of heat. <br />4. Design a ductless split AC system for the combined server room and audio/visual closet. <br />5. Electrical design to support the HVAC renovations. <br />6. Design power and data feeds line to new council chambers dais. <br />7. Design council chambers lighting upgrades, to be coordinated with room upgrades designed by <br />LAD. <br />8. Council chambers A/V upgrades: <br />a. Stantec will layout conduit and boxes to accommodate installation of new A/V equipment in <br />the council chambers and A/V room. Equipment will be designed, installed, and provided <br />by others outside of this contract. <br />b. Stantec will meet (on site or video conference) with City and A/V supplier to assist in <br />coordination of this work. <br /> <br />
