We recognize your legitimate desire to have the trail completed <br />when families living in Phase I desire to have trail access to Acorn Creek Park. <br />We plan to complete the Phase I sidewalk concurrently with the construction of Phase II <br />roadway improvements. The reason for this is that there is efficiency in doing the concrete <br />improvements concurrently with the construction of Laramee Lane, and also that constructing <br />this sidewalk following heavy construction on Phase I will result in less damage to the sidewalk <br />during Phase I home construction. We will construct the Phase I sidewalk improvements sooner <br />if Phase II is delayed and families living in Phase I need access to the sidewalk. We request that <br />you extend the deadline for completing the Phase I sidewalk improvements to November 1, <br />2020. <br /> <br />With respect to the ponding of water at the development site, we do not think that the ponding of <br />water bears any connection to the concerned resi <br />pump water from the pond simply to be good neighbors. I would note that 2019 was the wettest <br />year since record-keeping commenced in 1871, and we also had an unseasonably wet 2018 <br />season. Additionally, this neighborhood is part of a low and wet area. As you know, this past <br />weekend we went to the site and effectively pumped water out of all areas where water had <br />collected. We see pumping as a sensible solution until we are able to develop Phase II. As noted <br />above, we expect to have a much clearer picture for 2020 development activities by early June, <br />after hearing from our builders about their plans to purchase lots. <br /> <br />Please let me know of any additional questions.
