CAD to CAD interface is different then what Allina uses due to different CAD vendors. Unknown if we
will receive patient pre arrival information.
Fire and Police will have to learn 2 ambulance services M Health and Allina equipment and
expectations.

Allina.
If we want to go with Allina the City of Centerville will have to pass a resolution and Anoka County Dispatch
will have to be informed. An Allina ambulance coming from Lino Lakes Station 1 on Lake Drive according to
Google Maps will take 8 minutes or 5 miles to reach Centerville City Hall.

Pros
We already work with Allina in Circle Pines so there would be uniformity across all cities. Fire and
Police would only have to learn about Allina ambulances, equipment, and expectations.
There is a CAD to CAD interface with Allina and Anoka County Dispatch so we receive pre arrival
patient information.
Allina provides service to all the surrounding communities; Lexington, Circle Pines, Lino Lakes, all the
other communities in Anoka County.

Cons
Longer response times since they are not based in Centerville.
No revenue from leasing as with M Health
