<br />With this in mind, all Committee and Commission meetings (P&Z, P&R, EDA, and CC) <br />will continue to be held via Zoom, a videoconferencing application. The meetings are <br />also broadcast live on North Metro TV and streamed on their website. Additionally, <br />meeting connection information is being posted on the website and will be widely <br />distributed so that the public can join. We are <br />making every effort to allow public viewing and participation of our meetings while <br />physical access to city hall is not available. <br /> <br />PARKS AND RECREATION <br /> <br />Fete des Lacs <br />The Fete des Lacs Committee made the difficult decision at their meeting on May 6, to cancel <br />Fete des Lacs, 2020. The strong conviction of the committee, however, was that there would <br />s festival be one to remember. <br /> <br />Thursday Waterski Shows and Street Market <br />The Parks and Rec Committee previously voted to discontinue planning of this event for <br />2020. Even though some farmers markets are continuing with social distancing guidelines <br />in place, it seemed wise not to try to kick off a new event with such cumbersome <br />restrictions. With much of the groundwork laid, the committee feels that it will be <br />something that they can jump into next year with a good head start. <br /> <br />Staff is working with County staff to push our grant funding for this event to 2021. <br /> <br />The Bald Eagle Waterski Show has developed a plan to resume practice in the near future. <br />A copy of their COVID-19 Operations Plan is included in this packet for further review and <br />approval. <br /> <br />Music in the Park <br />At the last meeting, the Parks and Recreation Committee decided to continue planning for a <br />Music in the Park season, with a few sensible social distancing rules in effect. This event <br /> <br />
