CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br />PARKS AND RECREATION COMMITTEE <br />MEETING MINUTES <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City <br />held a scheduled meeting on June 3, 2020 via Zoom Meeting (ID: 173 583 122) <br /> <br />Present: Committee Member Kevin Waeghe, Chairman <br />Committee Member Heidi Errickson-Grahek <br />Committee Member Chris Bettinger <br /> Committee Member Suzanne Seeley <br />Committee Member Kathy Freiermuth <br />Committee Member Brian Peterson <br /> <br />Also Present: Mark Statz, City Administrator/Engineer <br /> <br />Absent: Michelle Lasko, Council Member Liaison <br />I. CALL TO ORDER <br />Committee Member Chairman, Kevin Waeghe, called the June 3, 2020 Meeting of the Parks & <br />Recreation Committee to order at 6:38 p.m. via Zoom. <br />Results of the roll call are shown above. <br />Mayor D. Love appeared before the Committee to thanked the members for their involvement and <br />commitment to the city. He informed them that he dropped off face masks at the city hall with the <br />city logo on them for each of the members and to share his vision of placing a sculpture in <br />Cornerstone Park which would serve as the focal point of the city. <br />II. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> <br />Motion made by Committee Member Seeley, seconded by Committee Member Waeghe to <br />approve the agenda as published. All in favor. Motion carried. <br />III. APPEARANCES <br />1. <br /> <br />EDA Vice-President Weatherhead was present and provided the Committee with an overview of <br />Accomplishments and Objectives for 2020 and beyond. Objectives included marketing, eetention <br />and promotion for potential new businesses and current businesses. Each member received a copy <br /> <br /> <br />
