City of Centerville <br /> Park & Recreation Committee <br />June 3, 2020 <br />IV. PUBLIC HEARINGS - None <br />V. UNFINISHED COMMITTEE BUSINESS <br />1. Music in the Park <br />Discussion ensued regarding the viability of the Music in the Park program for 2020. <br />Motion made by Committee Member Waeghe, seconded by Committee Member Errickson- <br />Grahek, to postpone Music in the Park until such <br />events. All in favor. Motion carried. <br />To be placed on the July Agenda to determine whether to proceed or cancel event for 2020. <br />2. Request for Use of Laurie LaMotte Park Baseball Fields <br />The Centennial Little League submitted their COVID-19 Operations Plan and requested the use <br />of the ballfields for practices only; no games allowed at this time. <br />Motion made by Committee Member Waeghe, seconded by Committee Member Peterson <br />to approve the request of the Centennial Little league for use of the Laurie LaMotte Park <br />ballfields for practices, under COVID-19 restrictions. All in favor. Motion carried. <br />VI. NEW COMMITTEE BUSINESS <br />1. Bald Eagle Water Ski Show <br />The Bald Eagle Waterski Club requested to use Trailside Park for conducting practices, under the <br />COVID-19 restrictions. <br />Motion made by Committee Member Peterson, seconded by Committee Member Seeley to <br />Recommend to City Council the use of Trailside Park by the Bald Eagle Water Ski Club for <br />Practices, Adhering to the Submitted COVID-19 Operations Plan. All in favor. Motion <br />carried. <br />VI. APPROVAL OF PREVIOUS MINUTES <br />1. April 1, 2020 Parks & Recreation Committee Meeting Minutes <br />Motion made by Committee Member Waeghe, seconded by Committee Member Errickson- <br />Grahek to Approve the April 1, 2020 P & R Committee Meeting Minutes, with 2 corrections: <br />tween Committee & Chairman, and Item V. <br />Unfinished Business, 3.b. reverse the words <br />2.
