<br />th <br />7129 20Ave. <br />The Planning and Zoning Commission upheld the decision of the Zoning Administrator on <br />the issue of nuisance lighting. The owner has been issued a notice to abate the issue. <br /> <br />PUBLIC WORKS/STREETS <br /> <br />Equipment <br /> One of the two Sterling dump trucks being repaired needed some steel plating welded <br />on due to larger than expected cracking in the box was revealed after sandblasting. <br />Both trucks should be completed soon. <br /> New pickup orders have been confirmed and will end up being 2021 model years. <br />No word yet on a delivery date. <br />City Hall Renovation <br />A conceptual rendering of the renovation proj <br />Council Workshop. <br /> <br />STORMWATER/WETLAND <br /> <br />LaMotte Park Stormwater Reuse System Expansion <br />s been reached and will be on the next City <br />Council agenda for approval. The agreement with St. Paul Regional Water Service was <br />approved at the last meeting. <br /> <br />SEWER AND WATER <br /> <br />Wellhead Protection Plan <br />The draft Part II plan has been sent to surrounding jurisdictions for comment. A Public <br />Hearing on the Plan is scheduled for August. <br /> <br />Sewer Cleaning <br />Staff has been working with a contractor to clean several sewer lines that are in need. <br /> <br />2020 Downtown Street and Utility Improvements <br />Work on the Downtown Street and Utility Improvements Project resumed recently, after a <br />month-or-so long hiatus due to COVID-19 logistical issues. Water main is being installed <br />on the project, east of Centerville Road, while road building activities commence on the <br />previously disturbed areas on the west side. <br /> <br />We are happy to announce that, through an appeal to county staff regarding COVID-19 <br />related hardships, another 2 homes were able to income-qualify for grants on the project. <br />ant-eligible express interest in hooking to <br />city water.
