City of Centerville <br />Council Meeting Minutes <br />June 14, 2006 <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson reviewed the request from Anoka County and explained that <br />the Planning Commission has recommended approval. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Terway, seconded by Council Member Paar, to <br />approve the Conditional Use Permit – Anoka County Realigning Clearwater Creek <br />as requested. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />2. Ord. #7, Second Series, Amending Chapter 154 of the City Code Regarding <br />Encroachments into Front Yards <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Lakso, seconded by Council Member Paar, to approve <br />Ord. #7, Second Series. Amendment to Chapter 154 of the City Code Regarding <br />Encroachments into Front Yards. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />3. Resolution #06-031 – Reimbursement Resolution Improvement G.O. Bond <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson indicated that this is a standard resolution during projects <br />where spending predates the issuance of bond or debt for the project and this would allow <br />the City to be reimbursed for those expenses from the proceeds of the bond. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Lee, seconded by Council Member Terway, to approve <br />Resolution #06-031 – Reimbursement Resolution Improvement G.O. Bond. All in <br />favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br />4.Request for Proposals for Financial Advisory Services – Ehlers & Associates, Inc. <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson explained that there were concerns about Staff handling the <br />bond transaction so Staff requested a proposal for firms to oversee that process. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Lee, seconded by Council Member Terway, to <br />authorize the use of Ehlers for the oversight of the bonding process not to exceed <br />$7,000. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> 5. Mr. Drew Johnson Eagle Scout Project Recognition <br /> <br />Mayor Capra indicated that the Eagle Scout project done by Drew Johnson was an <br />excellent project for the City and noted that he did a lot of work and she would like to <br />give him some recognition. She then said that she would like to send a letter on behalf of <br />the City thanking him for the work on the project. <br /> <br />Council agreed. <br /> <br />st <br />6.
