Anoka County <br />Anoka County has a new emergency management dashboard, related to COVID-19. You can <br />take a look at it here: Anoka County COVID-19 Dashboard <br /> <br />Centennial Lakes Police Department <br />COVID-19 <br />A member of the police department staff has tested positive for COVID-19. Cleaning crews <br />have sanitized the station and staff are being tested. The person was asymptomatic. <br /> <br />New Officers <br />The department welcomes two new officers to its ranks. One is a current Reserve and <br />Community Service Officer, who will be brought on as a full timer and the other is a new <br />hire. <br /> <br />Centennial Fire District <br />Fire District Organizational Study <br />In-person interviews were delayed due to a positive COVID test from one of the paid-on- <br />call members. The consultants should be in town within the next few weeks to complete <br />their work, now that everyone has tested negative. <br /> <br />COVID-19 <br />After several days of absence for our firefighters at the Circle Pines station due to a positive <br />test of on of their members, our crews are now back and healthy and have the necessary <br />Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). <br /> <br />Duty Crew <br />The department is still seeking duty crew hires to fill daytime positions. <br /> <br />Interim Co-Chief <br />Interim Co-Chief Jerry Striech has joined Co-Chief Kathy Peil and both are working to keep <br />the department running while the study continues. They will be presenting a second draft of <br />the 2021 budget to the Fire Steering Committee on August 27. <br /> <br />
