CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br />REQUEST FOR <br />COUNCIL ACTION <br />Agenda Item # Department: Requested Council Meeting Date: <br />September 9, 2020 <br />Finance <br />VIII.2.b <br />TITLE OF ISSUE: <br />CARES Act Funding - September Submittal <br />BACKGROUND AND SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION: <br />In order to retain the funds received through the CARES Act, the city must submit our expenses to the federal <br />government in a process similar to what happens after a natural disaster, like flood, etc. <br />Staff would like the City Council to approve the list of qualified expenses prior to submittal, each month.
