<br /> <br />CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br />PARKS AND RECREATION COMMITTEE <br />MEETING MINUTES <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City of Centerville’s Parks & Recreation Committee <br />held a scheduled meeting on April 1, 2020 via Zoom teleconference. <br /> <br />Present: Committee Member Kevin Waeghe, Chairman <br />Committee Member Heidi Errickson-Grahek <br />Committee Member Brian Peterson <br /> Committee Member Suzanne Seeley <br />Committee Member Kathy Freiermuth <br />Committee Member Chris Bettinger <br /> <br />Also Present: Mark Statz, City Administrator/Engineer <br /> <br />Absent: Michelle Lasko, Council Member Liaison <br /> <br />I. CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Committee Chairman, Kevin Waeghe, called the April 1, 2020 Meeting of the Parks & Recreation <br />Committee to order at 6:36 p.m. via Zoom Videoconferencing. Links to the meeting were provided <br />to the public, so that they were able to participate, via the city’s website and social media accounts <br />along with information being posted in the vestibule at city hall. <br /> <br />II. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> <br />Administrator Statz desired to add port-a-potties in the parks and the drinking fountain at Laurie <br />LaMotte warming house under New Business. <br /> <br />Motion made by Chair Waeghe, seconded by Committee Member Seeley to approve the <br />agenda with the above stated additions. All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />There was discussion regarding a roll call versus all in favor due to the zoom meeting and the lack <br />of verbal input from the public or restricted access. Administrator Statz stated that if the motion <br />was regarding something pertinent it would be taken. <br /> <br />III. APPEARANCES - None. <br /> <br />IV. PUBLIC HEARINGS - None <br /> <br />V. UNFINISHED COMMITTEE BUSINESS <br /> <br />City Administrator Statz stated that he had recently spoken with the Fete des Lacs Committee who <br />has decided to wait to make a determination regarding events, etc. He stated that other <br /> <br />
