<br />CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br />PARKS AND RECREATION COMMITTEE <br />MEETING MINUTES <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City of Centerville’s Parks & Recreation Committee <br />held a scheduled meeting on January 8, 2020 in the Conference Room of the Centennial Fire <br />Station #3. <br /> <br />Present: Committee Member Chris Bettinger <br />Committee Member Heidi Errickson-Grahek <br />Committee Member Brian Peterson <br /> Committee Member Suzanne Seeley <br />Committee Member Kevin Waeghe, Chairman <br /> <br />Also Present: Linda Neudecker, Recorder <br /> <br />Absent: Committee Member Kathy Freiermuth <br />Michelle Lasko, Council Member Liaison <br />Mark Statz, City Administrator/Engineer <br /> <br /> <br />I. CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br /> Committee Member Chair, Kevin Waeghe, called the January 8, 2020 Meeting of the Parks <br />& Recreation Committee to order at 6:40 p.m. in the Conference Room of Centennial Fire <br />Station, #3 due to City Council meeting utilizing the Council Chambers at City Hall. This <br />stth <br />meeting was rescheduled from January 1 to January 8. <br /> <br />II. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> <br /> Motion made by Committee Member Seeley, seconded by Committee Bettinger to <br />approve the Agenda as Written. All in favor. Motion carried <br /> <br />III. APPEARANCES – Ms Angela Conley <br /> <br /> Please see #2 under Unfinished Business <br /> <br />IV. PUBLIC HEARINGS - None <br /> <br />V. UNFINISHED COMMITTEE BUSINESS <br /> <br />1. 19-011 Lights for Sledding Hill <br /> <br />The responsibility of the P & R Committee would be to cover the cost of a pole & light <br />using a photo cell, timer, or connect to the hockey rink. Subsequent to this meeting, 6 <br />larger light fixtures were donated to the city. The city will be installing a new light pole <br />during the summer. The cost of the electricity would be the responsibility of the City. <br /> <br /> <br />
