end of the year for the Rehbein Black Dirt Operation. <br /> <br />PUBLIC WORKS/STREETS <br />City Hall Renovation <br />The COVID-19 related office area improvements are now complete. The contractor <br />will move into construction of the renovation work in the City Council Chambers and <br />front lobby area (see rendering below). This work should wrap up by mid-January. <br /> <br />The City is working towards a City Hall re-opening on February 1, 2021, including a <br />transition to in-person meetings of the City Council and various Committees. Of <br />course, as conditions of the pandemic change, this scheduled will be reevaluated. <br /> <br />Trucks <br />The new trucks we ordered almost a year ago are now in production and have <br />anticipated ship dates in November. The two large plow trucks that were having work <br />done on their dump boxes are completed and in service, just in time. <br /> <br />Misc. <br />Public works staff have been busy with preparing winter equipment and supplies of salt <br />& brine. The water systems have been winterized and staff has assisted homeowner <br />associations with winterizing their irrigation systems. All staff are healthy and on a <br />regular work schedule. <br /> <br />STORMWATER/WETLAND <br />LaMotte Park Stormwater Reuse System Expansion <br />Work on the project is substantially complete, with a few odds and ends that may need to <br />wait until the spring start-up of the system. <br /> <br />SEWER AND WATER <br />Wellhead Protection Plan <br />A Public Hearing on the Plan was held on September 9. No significant comments were <br />received. A draft of the Part II Plan will be sent to the Minnesota Department of Health for <br />review and comment. <br /> <br /> <br />
