more than one household. This paragraph does not impact professional <br />or intercollegiate sports activities permitted under paragraph 7.h.ii. <br />iii. All persons participating in outdoor recreational activities under this <br />Executive Order must follow the Outdoor Recreation Guidelines <br />available at DNR’s COVID-19 website <br />(https://www.dnr.state.mn.us/covid-19.html). <br />iv. Nothing in this paragraph permits trespass upon private property, and <br />all activities undertaken pursuant to this paragraph must be undertaken <br />in accordance with Minnesota law, including but not limited to license <br />and permit requirements, invasive species regulations, and park rules. <br />Nothing in this paragraph should be construed to abrogate existing <br />local authority to limit or restrict activities or close facilities. <br />c. Voting. Individuals are permitted and encouraged to vote in all state and local <br />elections. Voters are also encouraged to vote by mail using an absentee ballot <br />where feasible. Additional information is available at the Secretary of State’s <br />website (https://www.sos.state.mn.us/election-administration- <br />campaigns/elections-calendar/2020-elections-and-covid-19/). <br />d. Unnecessary travel strongly discouraged. Consistent with federal guidance <br />and to protect our neighbors, Minnesotans are encouraged to stay close to <br />home and are strongly discouraged from engaging in unnecessary travel, <br />particularly to other states or countries. <br />e. Travel advisory. Persons arriving in Minnesota from other states or countries, <br />including returning Minnesota residents, are strongly encouraged to practice <br />self-quarantine for 14 days after arrival by limiting their interactions to their <br />immediate household. This recommendation does not apply to individuals <br />who must cross state or country borders for work, study, medical care, or <br />personal safety and security. Students returning home for school breaks are <br />strongly encouraged to follow the recommendations available at MDH’s <br />Institutes of Higher Education website <br />(https://www.health.state.mn.us/diseases/coronavirus/schools/ihe.html). <br />f. Guidelines. Individuals engaging in activities outside of the home must <br />follow the requirements of this Executive Order, Executive Order 20-81 (face <br />coverings), and MDH and CDC Guidelines. Individuals engaging in outdoor <br />recreational activities must follow the Outdoor Recreation Guidelines <br />available at DNR’s COVID-19 website (https://www.dnr.state.mn.us/covid- <br />19.html). <br />g. Tribal activities and lands. <br />i. Activities by tribal members within the boundaries of their tribal <br />reservations are exempt from the restrictions in this Executive Order <br />but may be subject to restrictions by tribal authorities. <br />9 <br /> <br />
