CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br /> Committee Chair, Kevin Waeghe, called the December 2, 2020 Meeting of the Parks & Recreation <br />Committee to order at 6:32 p.m. via Zoom. Results of the roll call are shown above. <br /> <br />II. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> <br />Motion made by Committee Member Waeghe, seconded by Committee Member Freiermuth, to <br />approve the Agenda as written. All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />III. APPEARANCES <br /> <br />1. Mr. Emem Akpan, Candidate for the Parks and Recreation Committee was sworn in as a Parks <br />and Recreation Committee Member by City Administrator Statz. <br /> <br />2. Mr. Peter Schmitt, representative from Centennial Youth Hockey (please see VI. New Committee <br />Business) <br /> <br />IV. PUBLIC HEARINGS - None <br /> <br />V. COMMITTEE BUSINESS - UNFINISHED <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />The Adopt-a-Park Monument Flower Garden Program has adopted the guidelines and provided a list of <br />gardens to be managed. Two additional issues to be resolved are the purchase of rain barrels and <br />recruitment of additional volunteers. Currently the Scouts BSA (Troop #136) have committed to adopt <br /> <br />
