Trucks <br />One of the three new trucks we ordered almost a year ago have now been delivered to <br />the dealer. Once the other two are delivered to them, they will make a delivery of all 3 <br />to the city. <br /> <br />Misc. <br />Public works staff have been busy with preparing winter equipment and supplies of salt <br />& brine. The water systems have been winterized and staff has assisted homeowner <br />associations with winterizing their irrigation systems. All staff are healthy and on a <br />regular work schedule. <br /> <br />STORMWATER/WETLAND <br />LaMotte Park Stormwater Reuse System Expansion <br />Work on the project is substantially complete, with a few odds and ends that may need to <br />wait until the spring start-up of the system. <br /> <br />SEWER AND WATER <br />Wellhead Protection Plan <br />A Public Hearing on the Plan was held on September 9. No significant comments were <br />received. A draft of the Part II Plan will be sent to the Minnesota Department of Health for <br />review and comment. <br /> <br />2020 Downtown Street and Utility Improvements <br />Paving is now complete! The contractor paved the base course of asphalt just before the <br />protect the front edge of the curb from <br />snow plows while we wait to pave the final lift of asphalt next year or perhaps the year <br />after, depending on how the pavement looks upon inspection next spring. <br /> <br />The project has been hyrdo-seeded. This should allow for good turf growth early next <br />spring. Mail service has been switched back to normal delivery at permanent mailboxes. <br /> <br />A credit against all assessments has been issued, since sod was initially planned as part of <br />the project. Watch your mail for a letter outlining the specifics of your credit. <br /> <br />Well Sealing Cost Share <br />Program <br />The Anoka Soil and Water <br />Conservation District has a cost <br />share program for sealing <br />abandoned wells.
