Emphasis is to be on <br />creating highly animated design <br />solutions along all street frontages <br />and pedestrian ways. <br />Architectural guidelines include the <br />following: <br /> <br />st <br />Varied façade treatment at 1 Floor <br /> <br /> Provide a variety of building types and <br />Emphasize Pedestrian Level Detail <br />styles, expressed both in large scale <br /> <br />(overall building) and small scale <br /> Emphasize important intersections by <br />(design details); <br />placing distinctive architectural elements <br /> <br />or interesting façades at these prominent <br /> Designs should minimize blank walls <br />locations; <br />along the public rights-of-way and <br /> <br />should consider all street frontages, <br /> Provide a variety of front elevations for <br />including buildings at corners, as <br />rows of buildings along any given block; <br />primary elevations; <br /> <br /> <br />Scale, Proportion and Height: Mixed- <br /> Emphasize transparency at street level <br />Use Corridors <br /> Articulate front façades with projections <br />and recesses; <br /> <br /> <br /> Encourage variety in building height <br />along front elevations and allow <br /> Promote interesting, animated <br />changes in roof treatments. <br />architectural features without being <br />thematic or artificial.
