Council Member Lakso asked about existing <br />plumbing. <br /> <br />Mayor Love stated that Staff is attempting to update City Hall and make it better for hosting events <br />and make it welcoming to citizens and if able to make it a place where people want to visit we are <br />all the better for it. <br /> <br />X. COUNCIL/ADMINISTRATOR ANNOUNCEMENTS <br /> <br />1. Administrator’s Report <br /> <br />Administrator Statz stated that he did not have anything to report other than his written report and <br />that he would be happy to field any questions that Council may have. Mayor Love asked if there <br />was anything he desired to highlight. Administrator Statz stated that staff will be sending a flyer <br />out to rental residents/landowners and he desired for the public to be aware to contact 211 if <br />assistance in needed during COVID. He stated that there are assistance programs out there for just <br />about everything. He stated that we sent a similar funding notification to business owners as the <br />County programs have been extended with minor modifications and show an impact as of a result <br />of COVID, must be located within Anoka County and daycares if home based are allowed but <br />there are limitations on franchises. He also stated that if more than $10,000 in expenses they are <br />looking at providing more. Help us spread the word even if you do not have all your <br />documentation together but hit submit button and they will get it later. <br /> <br />Administrator Statz stated that Old Mill Estates is selling lots and similarly Bayview Villas with <br />one (1) remaining lot available. He also stated that he has had discussions with a developer <br />regarding Block 7 and row townhomes. He reported that Clean Up Day is scheduled for October <br />11 at Laurie LaMotte Park with costs associated with items. He stated that A-1 Excavating is <br />committed to finishing the project and back in town. He reported that Movie in the Park will take <br />place on September 19 and the movie is Toy Story 4 at dusk. He desired to thank Misters Brian <br />Peterson and Tom Lee for their work on Music in the Park and these individuals put together a <br />great line up and glad that we could offer the program during these difficult times. He also stated <br />that the Mayor’s wife has volunteered to be the first person to sign up for Adopt the Garden <br />Program and email info@centervillemn.com if interested. Council Member Wilharber stated that <br />th <br />he believed the Clean Up Day should be October 10 as the 11 was a Sunday. Mayor Love stated <br />that a vacancy on the P & R’s Committee and would love to hear from those interested. <br /> <br />City Attorney Glaser that things are slowly getting back to normal and in two (2) weeks he will be <br />going to in-person Court and things are slowly coming back. <br /> <br />Council Reports <br />a. Parks and Recreation Committee – Council Member Lakso reported <br />City Administrator Statz stated that he would add members to the City’s <br />email listing for email updates. <br />ii.
