City of Centerville <br />Council Meeting Minutes <br />December 11, 2019 <br /> <br />individual property taxes may be higher or lower due to remodeling and location of the <br />home. Mayor Paar reminded residents that the $9 was an average and that each home is <br />specific. <br /> <br />Mayor Paar thanked all staff for their efforts and stated that Council has been working on <br />the 2020 Budget since May and that they do not take this process lightly. <br /> <br />Council Member Koski questioned slight changes and Finance Director DeJong stated that <br />the budget does reflect Council last discussions. Council Member Koski and Love both <br />thanked staff for their work on this item. <br /> <br />Council Member Love suggested that Old Business, Item #4 be addressed prior to #1 due <br />to Calling the 2015A Bonds and paying that item in full. <br /> <br />Council Member Lakso stated that Council has been diligent in their discussions and <br />decisions as it relates to the 2020 Budget and Levy. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Montain, seconded by Council Member Koski to Close <br />the Public Hearing at 7:02 p.m. All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Love, seconded by Council Member Montain to Move <br />Item #4 under Old Business to Item #1. All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />VI.
