New Corporal <br />Congratulations to Officer Katy Mannin for <br />achieving the rank of Corporal, through her <br />programs such as school outreach. <br /> <br />Centennial Fire District <br />Fire Steering Committee <br />The Fire Steering Committee met on April <br />15 and took action to purchase a dozen new <br />radios as part of a multi-year plan to upgrade <br /> <br />Awards Program <br />The department recently held their annual awards program. Firefighter awards and <br />promotions were acknowledged for those listed below: <br /> <br />Adam Montain (station #3) <br />Chief, Darren Eckart (station #1) <br />tenant, Matt Rauner (station #3) <br />ptain, Michael Weber (station #3) <br />Badge Pinning (completed the initial training and 2-year probationary <br />(station #1), Tim Engle (station #3) <br /> <br />Officer Promotion/Badge Pinning: <br />Battalion Chief, Matt Montain <br />Battalion Chief, Darren Eckart <br />Captain, Michael Weber <br />Captain, George Wessman <br /> <br />Fire District Organizational Study <br />The Operations Committee will be presenting options for the future organizational structure <br />to the Fire Steering Committee on Thursday, May 13, at 7:00 PM <br /> <br />Fire Relief Association <br />The Fire Relief Association recently requested an increase in their pension payout. The <br />Fire Steering Committee granted this increase based on the financial health of the pension <br />fund and the outstanding service our firefighters continue to provide our community. <br /> <br />The district is looking for paid-on-call firefighters.
