ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT

Economic Development Authority (EDA)
CenterStage
The EDA has begun working with a local marketing
consultant who specializes in creating content for web-
advertising. The program, known as CenterStage will
highlight local businesses with both a custom created ad to
media accounts, as well as a
short video created by North Metro TV. Our consultant
will post and help promote those posts, to maximize
visibility across our platforms.

You can view the first two videos on North Me
Corner Express
Christa's Paw Spa

Business names are being randomly selected from our business directory. The initiative
hopes to feature 2 businesses a week, for the foreseeable future. The EDA is funding the
program with money previously earmarked for a rebranding effort in their 2020 budget.

New Business Welcome Program
A new initiative being discussed at the EDA is the formation of a New Business Welcome
Program.
