Ambassadors that the Quad Area Chamber of Commerce has been approved for a COVID <br />Relief Grant from Anoka County in the amount of $9,418 through the state-funded, business <br />and non-profit COVID relief program. These funds will help us provide essential services <br />and programing to ensure our local members survive and, indeed, thrive in the wake of the <br />pandemic. We wish to thank the county for its partnership on this grant and for recognizing <br />the important role our local Chambers of Commerce play in the business community. <br /> <br />Economic Development Authority (EDA) <br />Strategic Plan - The EDA board recently discussed their 2021 strategic plan and budget. <br />Topics include Market Studies, ongoing programs, such as the Blue Logo Sign program, <br />CenterStage and the revolving loan and grant program and a city monument sign. <br /> <br />CenterStage <br />JP's Liquor Video <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT <br />Old Mill Estates <br />Punch list work related to infrastructure continues. The city retains a letter of credit to cover <br />these items. Several lots still remain. Homes are priced upwards of $500,000. <br /> <br />nd <br />Old Mill Estates 2 Addition <br />Punch list work related to infrastructure continues. The city retains a letter of credit to cover <br />these items. Lots are for sale and several building permits have now been pulled. Centra Homes <br />has purchased several lots in the development to market to potential buyers. <br /> <br />th <br /> <br />Centerville Storage (20Ave. Mini Storage) <br />Building construction continues. Grading, paving and restoration work will finish up in the <br />Spring. The developer will be replacing the doors on the north end of the east building with <br />brick. The doors were erroneously placed there when site layout changes did not get <br />reflected in the building plans. <br /> <br />Bay View Villas (Waterworks Site) <br />Punch list items including landscaping, ped ramps, mailboxes and shoreline plantings will be <br />addressed in the spring. The city retains a letter of credit to cover these items. <br /> <br />Peltier Estates <br />nd <br />A public hearing was held on March 2 at the Planning and Zoning Commission meeting to <br />review the preliminary plat as a Planned Unit Development (PUD). The commission <br />recommended approval of the Preliminary Plat to the City Council who will consider it at <br /> <br />
