SEWER AND WATER <br />Water Supply Plan <br />Our consultant has made the revisions to the plan, per the DNR’s comments and city staff <br />has submitted the plan through the MNPARs system, as required. We anticipate DNR <br />approval soon. <br />PUBLIC WORKS/STREETS <br />Public Works Technician Position <br />New employee, James Huisenga has begun his employment with the city. <br />Lino Lakes LaMotte Neighborhood Street and Utility Reconstruction <br />Lino Lakes is rebidding this contract next month. There are no plans to extend water <br />main to the neighborhood at this time. <br />PARKS <br />Pickle Ball <br />Pickle Ball court lines will be added to the tennis court at Eagle Park. <br />Dupre Artifacts <br />Wargo Nature Center is putting out a request for proposals for some display cases. They <br />intend to reserve some space for the Dupre artifacts. <br />Mowing Contract <br />Our mowing contract has been modified to eliminate the 5 acre parcel where Ruffridge <br />Johnson now sits. This saves the city $230/month! We will need to send this contract <br />out for bids at the end of this season.The current 3-year contract ends in 2018. <br />Committee Vacancy <br />The parks committee still has one open seat. Please talk with friends and neighbors about <br />this opportunity to serve. <br />FETE DES LACS <br />At the time of this report, Fete des Lacs was in full swing with a very successful first few <br />days and the weather looking good for the weekend. Public works has done a great job <br />cleaning, weeding, and otherwise preparing the parade route and LaMotte park for the <br />festival. <br />PUBLIC SAFETY <br />Centennial Fire District <br />Remodeling Station 1 is complete. Station 3 has a few remaining items, left to do <br />in the kitchen area. <br /> <br />
