PUBLIC SAFETY <br />Centennial Fire District <br />The old bus that the district owned has finally been sold to a salvage yard and <br />removed from the city’s public works department site. The bus, was at one time, <br />used for training. <br />Centennial Lakes Police Department <br />We have been working with the department on a “potential dangerous dog” <br />incident, as well as one involving a cat. <br />Miscellaneous <br />The Anoka County Sheriff’s Office and the Department of Natural Resources responded <br />to a call regarding a boater in distress on Peltier Lake. A drowning victim was identified <br />and the body recovered. Our police and fire departments were not involved in the effort. <br />
