City staff met with Anoka County staff to review the necessary steps for another attempt <br />at a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) to complete the downtown water and <br />street project. Next steps include getting county and federal approval of an income <br />survey document and strategy. Once the plan for the income study is approved, we can <br />begin the survey. <br /> <br />PUBLIC WORKS/STREETS <br />Lino Lakes LaMotte Neighborhood Street and Utility Reconstruction <br />This project is moving along as scheduled and will be completed this fall. <br />PARKS <br />Mowing Contract <br />We have now sent out a request for proposals for the mowing of city properties and will <br />have the results by the end of the month. <br />Committee Vacancy <br />The parks committee still has one open seat. Please talk with friends and neighbors about <br />this opportunity to serve. <br /> <br />Long Range Capital Improvement Plan <br />The Parks and Recreation Committee has approved a draft of the Long Range Capital <br />Improvement Plan (CIP). This CIP would be the backbone of a Parks and Trails Master <br />Plan which would set the foundation for a well justified Park Dedication Fee.
