We continue to work with the developer on various elements of the development process. <br />The two homes on the site have been raised and the site is now ready for grading. We <br />anticipate construction to begin in the spring. <br /> <br />Block 7 Property <br />A joint meeting of the EDA and P&Z Commission has been scheduled for January 16, <br />2019, where interested developers will be proposing their ideas for development of the <br />site. From there, the city will choose a developer to work with to flesh out more details <br />and begin to scope a development scenario. <br />1737 Main Street <br />th <br />Demolition is scheduled for December 12 <br />. <br />Commerce Drive Property <br />Our realtor, Mike Brass is negotiating with a potential buyer for the site. This is a new <br />party, with a mix of light industrial and retail use. <br /> <br />General <br />Code enforcement letters have been sent, recently, on the following topics: <br /> No recent activity <br />th <br />A meeting between city staff and the business is set for December 13 to begin <br />clarification of the Conditional Use Permit language. <br /> <br />CenterMart - Conditional Use Permit <br />City staff met with CenterMart ownership to discuss compliance issues and look at <br />potential revisions to their Conditional Use Permit. We think there are some issues that <br />could be mitigated while enhancing their business opportunities. Our conversations will <br />continue and will work towards compliance and potential changes in the CUP. <br /> <br />Ready Landscaping <br />City staff sent a letter to the owner, asking to cease any retail sales activity in the building <br />due to zoning and building code compliance issues. <br /> <br />STORMWATER/WETLAND <br />Local Water Plan <br />City staff are exploring opportunities to reduce redundancies in erosion control inspection <br />work with Rice Creek Watershed District. <br /> <br /> <br />
