Midwest Best Water has drafted some potential building façade treatments for approval <br />bv the City. <br />th <br />20 Avenue Corridor Zoning <br />City staff met with the City Attorney and City Planner to discuss a variety of issues <br />th <br /> Avenue over the past several <br />related to zoning conflicts that have come up along 20 <br />the Commerce Drive properties has suggested a <br />ve been several proposals which have struggled to fit in the <br />zoning code, despite seeming like appropriate uses for the land. <br />Staff presented a comprehensive solution to the issues described above to the Planning <br />and Zoning Commission at its March meeting. The recommendations were well <br />received. With some additional input gathered at the Planning and Zoning Commission <br />meeting, a final plan has been formulated and will be presented to the public at a Public <br />Hearing. These changes would allow several potential developments to move forward. <br />General <br /> Snow removal <br />The city attorney has submitted draft language for the new Conditional Use Permit to <br />CenterMart - Conditional Use Permit <br />City staff met with CenterMart ownership to discuss compliance issues and look at <br />potential revisions to their Conditional Use Permit. We think there are some issues that <br />could be mitigated while enhancing their business opportunities. Our conversations will <br />continue and will work towards compliance and potential changes in the CUP. <br />th <br />7129 20 Ave. <br />th <br />New outdoor lighting fixtures attached to the building at 7129 20 Ave. have become a <br />nuisance to area residents. The lights were put up due to safety concerns. City staff <br />mediated a meeting between the building owner and the residents. The building owner is <br />going to install hoods on the fixtures and/or lower voltage fixtures and communicate with <br />the homeowners to make sure they are satisfied with the results. A follow-up date was <br />set to ensure progress is being made towards a solution. <br />iderably. We will continue to work with <br />them on a permanent signage plan. <br /> <br />
