I strongly encourage you to vote against
this, or at least vote to delay a vote until more voices are heard or alternatives are
considered.
I live in the Watermark development, which yes, is in Lino Lakes, but will also be very near to
this development and impacted by it. From what
Lakes that are against this proposal, but many in Centerville as well.
petition that started less than a day ago already has over 600 signatures:
https://www.change.org/p/the-city-of-centerville-centerville-upcoming-
development?utm_source=share_petition&utm_medium=custom_url&recruited_by_id=c
500f760-de22-11e9-93ea-995ebd3a53ab
he Kwik Trip seems unnecessary as there is
another one a mile away and three gas stations near us on Main Street already. As far as the
apartment building, that really seems out of place, and I highly doubt there is high demand for
th 800+ lots going in in Watermark and more
homes going in in the community around, I think there will be plenty of other retail/commercial
options in the near future that would be more suitable for our community and the families that
live here.
Please reconsider this course of action, due to the very strong opposition of the surrounding
community. Thank you for your time.
1
