Specifically, I do not support rezoning part of
the land in order to put in an apartment building. I understand that we will continually be
ct of the matter is
there were never 800+ homes going in near that piece of land.
us a little more time to find buyers that would boost our economy and give us new
places to shop and eat so that we can support local businesses.
Our community has many concerns regarding the apartment building specifically. We
there is no guarantee they would stay
nice looking. The management company for the apartments has horrible reviews
online and their other properties look mediocre at best. The exterior of the building will
include EIFS which is well known to be problematic in climates like ours and during the
P&Z meeting on 4/26/21, that was even acknowledged but nobody saw it to be a
problem. The other concern we have is the
become low income, which would likely increase crime and noise in the area.
Another issue I have is that everything appears so biased. Letters were only sent to
people within 350 feet, which is a lot of Lino Lakes residents, not so many Centerville. I
anyone wants to build there in the first place.
