July 28, 2021
Watering Restrictions
Cities recently received a letter from the DNR notifying us of the potential for state-
mandated watering restrictions. The city currently has an odd/even watering ban and no
watering may take place between 10 AM and 6 PM. We are currently at more than three
times our normal winter month water usage. The DNR would like to see us closer to 1.5x
our winter numbers. Please make sure you are in compliance with our current ordinance
and, if you can, dial down those sprinklers for a bit and help us stay within our limits.
Meeting Date Change
The Planning and Zoning Commission meeting for August has been pushed back one
week, to August 10, 2021, to accommodate Nite to Unite. All committee meetings are
now being held in-person at City Hall, beginning at 6:30 PM, unless otherwise noted.
PARKS AND RECREATION
Main Street Market
Thanks to all the volunteers, vendors and visitors for
making our inaugural market run a success, averaging
500 or so guests each night.
