(M)Driveway access. \[as in current ordinance\] <br /> <br />(N) Permitted driveways for residential uses. \[as in current ordinance\] <br /> <br />Section 5. That new Sections 156.166(O) and (P) shall be added and current item (N) in that <br />section be reordered to item (Q), to read as follows: <br /> <br />(O) Permitted vehicles and equipment stored on residential lots. The permitted vehicles <br />and equipment allowed to be stored outside of a structure on residential lots consist <br />of three categories and two sizes: <br />a. Category 1: passenger vehicles, such as cars, trucks, and vans, provided they <br />are registered and operable and whic <br />b. Category 2: other vehicles, such as snowmobiles, campers, recreational <br />vehicles, travel trailers, campers, motor homes, boats, personal watercraft <br />c. Category 3: equipment, such as trailers, construction equipment, skid steers, <br />icehouses, fishhouses, and similar, and <br />d. Small units. Small units referred to in this section shall have an overall length <br />from front to back of no more than 25 feet, an overall height of no more than <br />8 feet, and be no more than 14,000 pounds gross vehicle weight. Small units <br />may be for personal or commercial use; <br />e. Large units. Large units referred to in this section shall have an overall length <br />of no more than 40 feet, an overall height of no more than 13 feet, and be no <br />more than 19,500 pounds gross vehicle weight. Anything longer, taller, or <br />heavier than these maximums is not allowed to be stored outside on <br />residential property. Large units must be for personal use only; no large <br />commercial units are allowed to be stored outside on residential property. <br />f. Vehicles or equipment loaded on a trailer shall not count as separate units <br />under this provision, but rather the trailer shall count as one unit. The trailer <br />when loaded must meet the size requi <br />herein; <br /> <br />(P) Any number of registered and operable passenger vehicles shall be allowed on a <br />permitted driveway. A maximum of three units of other vehicles and equipment may <br />be stored outside of a structure on the permitted driveway area on any residential <br />parcel, or anywhere else on the lot, but on <br />defined herein. All vehicles, and equipment must be parked at least 15 feet from the <br />curb or edge of pavement of a public street. <br />(Q) Requirements For Mixed-Uses. If a building or structure contains a mixture of uses <br />as defined by paragraphs (A) and (I), the minimum number of parking spaces <br />required for the entire building or structure shall be calculated for the most restrictive <br />parking use as permitted by the applicable zoning district and building codes. <br />DRAFT Page 3 of 4 <br /> <br />
