City of Centerville <br />EDA Minutes <br /> July 21, 2021 <br />2. Communications <br /> <br />a. Brew Pub Email <br /> <br />Executive Director Statz reviewed the email and conversation he had regarding the inquiries about <br />adding a Brew Pub to the City. <br /> <br />There was discussion about the different locations the brew pub could potentially go and what the <br />Commissioners felt would work. <br /> <br />Commissioner Mosher asked if the City Code addresses rooftop dining. Executive Director Statz <br />checked and noted it does not mention anything about rooftop dining, but they could look at <br />amending that should they want to at some point. <br /> <br />VI. REPORTS <br /> <br /> 1. Administrator’s Report <br /> <br />Executive Director Statz stated they are working on keeping all the development projects around <br />town on track, he noted the progress has been slow but is moving along. He stated they want to <br />make sure they contracts get completed and done before October. <br /> <br />2. Partner Agency Reports <br /> <br />a. Anoka County Regional Economic Development (ACRED) <br /> <br />ndth <br />Executive Director Statz stated they are getting ready for the 3M Open on July 22 – 25. <br /> <br /> b. Quad Area Chamber of Commerce <br /> <br />Executive Director Statz stated they had a board meeting on Monday. He noted they have seen <br />membership growth, last month they had 6 new members. The Quad Area Chamber of Commerce <br />is also trying to help Lino Lakes get their festival off the ground after Blue Heron Days was <br />cancelled. <br /> <br />c. Hugo Area Business Association <br /> <br />Executive Director Statz stated he has been attending these meetings and noted they are having a <br />gathering soon where they are renting some pontoons, grilling food, and socializing. <br /> <br />3.
