CITY OF CENTERVILLE REQUEST FOR COUNCIL ACTION Agenda Item # Department: Requested Council Meeting Date: November 10, 2021 Administration VII.5 TITLE OF ISSUE: Cancellation of 2nd Meetings of the Month for November & December Council Meetings BACKGROUND AND SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION: It has become general practice to consider cancellation of the second meeting of the month City Council meetings due to the proximity of the holidays, traveling, etc. (November 24 & December 22, 2021). The general practice is that if needed, the Mayor or two (2) Council Members. The requirement is that calling of the Special meeting will be completed in writing and filed with the City Clerk. Posting of said meeting must be completed three (3) days prior to the meeting. COST AND SOURCE(S) OF FUNDING: N/A REQUESTED COUNCIL ACTION: Recommendation to cancel the regularly scheduled November 24 and December 22, 2021 City Council meetings with the understanding that the Mayor or two (2) members of Council may call for a Special meeting with appropriate legal notice being given if the need arises.
