City of Centerville <br />Council Meeting Minutes <br />September 8, 2021 <br /> <br />Attorney Glaser stated the purpose of the public hearing is to listen to questions and concerns of <br />the community. Attorney Glaser explained that giving up of an easement is giving up real property <br />that has been given by the property owner’s to the public for public use and not the City. He stated <br />that the City needs to ensure that it is making its decision in the best interest of the public. <br />No one present wished to speak at the public hearing. <br /> <br />Council Member Koski wondered if the current land owner, Mr. Rehbein, requested the easement. <br />Administrator Statz stated that Mr. Rehbein owns both parcel effected by the easement(s) but is <br />selling the southern parcel at this time. Attorney Glaser stated that originally the cul de sac was <br />constructed as a temporary cul de sac with easements knowing that sometime in the future the <br />parcels owned by Mr. Rehbein would be developed and the roadway would need to be extended <br />to accommodate same. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Koski, seconded by Council Member Mosher, to Close the <br />Public Hearing at 6:37 p.m. All in favor. June 23, 2021 City Council Work Session & Meeting Minutes <br /> <br />Mayor Love provided an opportunity for Council to make modifications to the minutes if desired. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Koski, seconded by Council Member King, to Approve the June <br />3, 2021 City Council Meeting Minutes as Presented. All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member King, seconded by Council Member Lakso, to Approve the June <br />9, 2021 City Council Meeting Minutes as Presented. All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Lakso, seconded by Council Member King, to Approve the June <br />23, 2021 City Council Work Session and Council Meeting Minutes as Presented.
